Quartz countertops have become one of the most popular surfaces in homes across the globe. Known for their clean appearance, consistent color, and easy care, quartz surfaces fit naturally into kitchens and bathrooms that see daily use and busy routines.
At Konkus Marble & Granite, we fabricate and install custom quartz countertops for residential and commercial projects throughout Columbus. Each quartz countertop is planned, fabricated, and installed with precision so it looks polished on day one and continues to perform reliably over time.
Quartz is an engineered stone made from natural quartz combined with binding materials to create a strong, non-porous surface. Unlike natural stone, quartz offers uniform color and patterning, which many homeowners prefer for clean, contemporary spaces.
Quartz countertops are often chosen by homeowners who want a surface that fits seamlessly into daily life without requiring special care. Busy kitchens, shared family spaces, and frequently used bathrooms benefit from quartz’s resistance to staining and ease of cleaning.
Because quartz does not require sealing, it remains a practical and dependable choice for many interiors.
Every quartz countertop begins with careful planning and accurate measurements. Fabrication is completed at our local facility, allowing close attention to detail throughout the process.
Quartz fabrication includes precise templating so countertops fit cabinetry, walls, and appliances accurately. Clean cutouts are created for sinks, cooktops, and fixtures, while edge profiles are shaped to match the style of the space. Finishing ensures a smooth, uniform surface that feels polished and refined once installed.
This level of precision helps quartz countertops integrate cleanly into both new construction and existing homes.
Quartz is especially popular in kitchens where daily life happens — from family meals and homework at the island to entertaining friends on weekends. Its non-porous surface makes cleanup simple, while its consistent appearance helps create a cohesive kitchen design.
Quartz is commonly used for:
Precision sink cutouts allow for undermount sinks with smooth edges, and thoughtful layout planning ensures seams and transitions remain subtle. Quartz pairs well with both modern and traditional kitchens where clean lines and reliability matter.
Bathrooms benefit from quartz’s moisture resistance and easy maintenance. Vanity tops are fabricated to accommodate sinks and faucets while maintaining a clean, refined appearance.
Many homeowners choose quartz for bathrooms where they want a polished look without worrying about sealing or special care. Its consistent surface also works well when coordinating multiple bathrooms or creating a uniform design throughout the home.
Quartz countertops are fabricated for a wide range of applications, including:
Experience across different project types allows fabrication and installation to adapt to each space’s needs while maintaining consistent quality.
